Here is how we predict Celtic will line up against Rangers on Saturday:

Celtic Manager Brendan Rodgers celebrates during the William Hill Scottish Cup Final between Celtic and Aberdeen at Hampden Park on May 27, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Celtic have a huge match this weekend as they travel to Ibrox to take on Rangers in their first Old Firm clash of the new season.

The Bhoys are currently top of the Scottish Premiership but Rangers would move just two points behind them with a victory on Saturday.

Jozo Simunovic of Celtic celebrates after he scores during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Dundee and Celtic at Dens Park Stadium on March 19, 2017 in Dundee, Scotland.

Conversely, a win for Brendan Rodgers’ side would see clear daylight between the fierce rivals even at this early stage of the campaign.

Celtic made six changes for the recent Scottish League Cup clash against Dundee, but it did nothing to upset the Bhoys’ rhythm and many of those on show on Wednesday evening will be hoping to start against the Gers.

Celtic centre-back Jozo Simunovic is a minor doubt due to a swollen knee but he is expected to be fit in time for this clash and could partner the recently returned Dedryck Boyata in the heart of the Bhoys’ defence.

That would certainly be a better option against the free-scoring Alfredo Morelos than persisting with midfielder Nir Bitton in a relatively unfamiliar position.

With all that in mind here is how we predict Celtic will line up this weekend:
