Celtic and Partick Thistle face off later this week.

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is seen during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Motherwell at Celtic Park on December 2, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Celtic may have seen their 69-match unbeaten run ended in emphatic fashion on Sunday, but Bhoys boss Brendan Rodgers does not need to wait long to ensure his side gets back to winning ways.

The reigning Scottish Premiership champions welcome Partick Thistle to Celtic Park on Wednesday evening for their penultimate clash before Christmas and there are likely to be a few changes as Rodgers looks to shake off the dust after his side were overrun by an impressive Hearts team last time out.

The likes of Mousa Dembele, Stuart Armstrong and Edboue Kouassi can be hopeful of getting a start this week after starting the weekend game on the bench.

There could also be a return for Kristoffer Ajer, who has done nothing wrong when he has featured but who had to watch on as his more experienced defensive teammates were embarrassed at Tynecastle.

There are still plenty of reasons for Celtic fans to be positive and one defeat does not undo all the great work Rodgers has undertaken at the club thus far.

That said, he will want to start another run this side of 2018 and, with that in mind, here is how we expect Celtic to line up against Partick on Wednesday night:
