Aston Villa and Queens Park Rangers go head-to-head this weekend:

Aston Villa travel to Loftus Road on Saturday to take on Queens Park Rangers in their first Championship game since the latest international break.
Steve Bruce’s side will be desperate to get back to winning ways after losing 2-1 to Sheffield Wednesday last time out and they will be quietly confident having gone on a fine run prior to that setback.

Villa looked to be struggling to another faltering finish before a huge upturn in form so them move into the play-off places and, while there is still a lot of football to be played, Bruce has the players at his disposal to mount a prolonged push for a return to the top flight at the second attempt.
As for QPR, they are currently 15th in the table but only five points behind Villa, proving how quickly things can turn with a couple of wins under your belt.
Bruce will not be taking this game for granted, knowing that every single point is earned the hard way in this division, and he will have to make do without summer signing John Terry after the defender broke a metatarsal inn his right foot earlier this month.
Chris Samba is expected to step in and, while that will alarm some Villa fans, Bruce has to make do with what he has until January at the earliest. At left-back, it would be no surprise to see Neil Taylor return despite the impressive recent form of Alan Hutton while Scot Hogan will be hoping for another chance up front with Jonathan Kodjia doubtful yet again.
With all that in mind here is how we expect Villa to line up against QPR this weekend:
