Aston Villa travel to Elland Road this week to take on Leeds United in their latest Championship encounter, and both sides are seeking the three points as they chase promotion back to the top flight.

In contrast Leeds are eighth but could return to the play-off places with a win of their own, meaning this game really could go either way.

Villa boss Steve Bruce has overseen an impressive return to form after a slow start to the new campaign and, even with some big-name injuries, he has the players to cope with the challenges ahead.

Last time out Villa won 2-0 against Ipswich Town and they will be hoping to make it four wins on the bounce against a Leeds team that have been hit-and-miss in recent weeks.

The Whites’ win against Barnsley last weekend was a step in the right direction but they will have to be at their best to overcome Villa.
