Aston Villa and Ipswich Town go head-to-head this weekend.

Aston Villa welcome Ipswich Town this weekend for their latest Championship clash, and Steve Bruce’s side will be hoping to build on their recent victories against Queens Park Rangers and Sunderland.
The Villans lost to Sheffield Wednesday immediately before the international break but they have put that disappointment behind them in impressive fashion.

Villa are currently fourth in the table with 32 points from 18 matches, and with only five points separating them from the automatic promotion places, Bruce will be very pleased with his side’s progress this season.
There is of course a huge amount of work still to be done but if Villa can get one over Ipswich it will be another step in the right direction.
Ipswich are currently ninth and will not be easy opponents as they have promotion hopes of their own.
Villa have shown that a few quick victories can turn the table on its head and Mick McCarthy’s men will be hoping to prove that themselves in the coming weeks.
Villa are without star striker Jonathan Kodjia, along with fellow forward Scott Hogan and skipper John Terry, but they still have enough players to ensure another three points this weekend.
With all that in mind here is how we expect Villa to line up against Ipswich on Saturday afternoon:
