Here is how we predict Aston Villa will line up against Bolton Wanderers this weekend:

Aston Villa take on Bolton Wanderers this weekend with Steve Bruce’s side aiming to take 12 points from four matches and continue their exciting run of form.

Villa looked down and out just a few weeks ago, struggling at the wrong end of the table with their fans preparing for a third straight year in the Championship. However, three wins on the bounce have propelled the Villans into eighth place, just two points outside the play-off places and with hope restored.

Villa should have too much for a Bolton side that has picked up just two points from 10 matches, leaving them rooted firmly to the bottom of the table with little hope of salvation even at this early stage of the campaign.

That said, there is no such thing as an easy match in the English second tier and Villa will know they cannot afford to take the three points for granted before the game has even kicked off.

While promotion is up for grabs for about half the division, Villa certainly have the squad to make a good fist of it now they have built up a head of steam.

Given the way Villa played earlier this week, the team should pick itself if everyone is fit and available, so with that in mind here is how we predict Bruce will line his side up on Saturday afternoon:
