Arsenal will return to action on Thursday evening when they take on Molde at the Emirates Stadium in the Europa League.
Mikel Arteta’s side will head into the Group B game on the back of a 1-0 win against Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
The Gunners have won their opening two Europa League games and will be favourites to pick up all three points against Molde as well.
Arteta is likely to make changes to the team that started against United, as the Spaniard has been giving valuable playing time to his fringe and youth players in the European competition.
Reiss Nelson played well against Dundalk in the Europa League last week, and the 20-year-old winger is likely to return to the starting lineup.
Described as “a special player” by Arsenal manager Arteta in The London Evening Standard in March 2020, the youngster was left out of the matchday squad against United.
Shkodran Mustafi has played just 44 minutes in the Premier League and 61 minutes in the Europa League for the Gunners so far this season, according to WhoScored, and Arteta could include him in the starting lineup against Molde.
Eddie Nketiah is likely to lead the line, while Runar Alex Runarsson could make his second Europa League start between the posts.
