Arsenal travel to Bulgaria this week to take on Ludogorets Razgrad in their latest Champions League group match.

The Gunners are currently top of their group and are also flying high in the Premier League, behind leaders Manchester City only on goal-difference after their 4-1 hammering of Sunderland last time out.

Arsenal have long been regarded as the perennial also-rans, falling short at the final hurdle, but this season could be different as manager Arsene Wenger has built a squad that seems ready to challenge for trophies both at home and abroad.

In early team news, Arsenal are without Per Mertesacker, Lucas Perez and Danny Welbeck, while there are minor doubts relating to Nacho Monreal, Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla, although all three are rated at 75 per cent to be ready if called upon.
