CalcioMercato claim that Tottenham want to sign the Fiorentina centre-back, as Jose Mourinho’s side continue to look to improve their squad.
Spurs invested heavily over the summer, but Mourinho is apparently still keen to bolster his defensive options.
And Tottenham fans are excited over claims in the Italian media that they want Milenkovic.
If Tottenham do move for Milenkovic they may stand a chance of signing him, as his contract at Fiorentina is beginning to run down.
Spurs did bring in Joe Rodon in the summer, but they are yet to really iron out their defensive issues.
Tottenham’s great attacking play has been undone on occasion this term by some poor defensive errors.
And if Spurs do not start keeping more clean sheets before the new year it would no be too much of a surprise if Mourinho did try to dip back into the market in January.
