Tottenham travel down to the south coast to face Brighton on Sunday, yet the Seagulls could be without as many as eight first-team players due to injury.

According to the Argus, Graham Potter’s side will be heavily depleted. Key names such as Lewis Dunk, Leandro Trossard and Adam Lallana are all in doubt of missing out, and these injuries to Brighton could be huge for Spurs.

The north London side are on a three-game winning run in the Premier League, with Antonio Conte getting his tactics and philosophy instilled into the club after arriving in November,

Yet despite some rough performances, Spurs appear to be getting on the right track. Tottenham breezed past Norwich City 3-0 on Sunday to go fifth in the Premier League table, just two points off West Ham in fourth.

Indeed, Sunday’s match against Brighton will be crucial in Spurs’ quest for UEFA Champions League football, and the Seagulls lengthy injury list will be nothing but beneficial for Conte’s side.

Whilst Brighton have proven to be a stubborn side to play against this season, the number of injuries to key players makes Tottenham the clear favourites for Sunday’s clash at the Amex. And fans on social media are purring.
