Sheffield Wednesday could hijack Pedro Caixinha’s bid to bring the boyhood Rangers fan to Ibrox from Norwich City.
Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans
Sheffield Wednesday fans are split over reports linking them with a move for Norwich City midfielder Graham Dorrans.
Dorrans is said to be the subject of a bid from boyhood club Rangers, although Wednesday could look to hijack that deal, according to the Daily Mail.
The 30-year-old scored six goals in 23 Championship appearances this past season, a large chunk of which he missed through injury.
However, despite this – as well as the fact he still has two years left on his contract – Norwich are reportedly willing to move Dorrans on for as little as £1.5 million.

And Wednesday fans can’t make up their minds whether it would be a good deal or not…
Wednesday aren’t short of players in Dorrans’ position, although none of their current crop could muster as many goals as the Scot in 2016-17.
Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Almen Abdi
Were the Norwich man to move to Hillsborough this coming transfer window, it would likely leave the future of two of last summer’s recruits, Almen Abdi and David Jones, under threat.
According to reports last week, Dorrans is keen to return to his native Glasgow with Rangers, although the Owls would almost certainly have the upper hand on Pedro Caixinha’s side financially.
Mexico midfielder Carlos Pena
Rangers are expected to conclude the signing of another midfielder, Carlos Pena, in the coming weeks. However, the Mexico international’s arrival is not expected to affect the Gers’ Dorrans pursuit.
