Moses Odubajo suffered a suspected dislocated knee cap in Hull City’s friendly fixture against Grimsby Town
Injured: Hull’s Moses Odubajo
Steve Bruce has expressed his disappointment to Hull City’s official YouTube Channel following Moses Odubajo’s potentially serious injury suffered against Grimsby Town last night.
Odubajo was forced off the field just minutes into the game held in Grimsby with an injury that could see him sidelined for a significant amount of time.
And Bruce has not hidden his disappointment at having suffered another injury during pre-season, with Allan McGregor and Alex Bruce already in session with the physio.

The Tigers boss believes the injury affected everyone last night, potentially influencing the result – with the game finishing with both sides firing blanks.
“The huge disappointment is the injury to odubajo.
“We hope that its going to be okay on Monday [when he goes for a scan.]
“But I have to say it doesn’t look great at the minute which is hugely disappointing.
“I think its affected everybody from the first two minutes after what’s happened to Moses.”
Hull City manager Steve Bruce is disappointed to lose Odubajo
Odubajo will have a scan on his injured knee on Monday, sustained after falling awkwardly from a challenge.
Bruce told the press straight after the game that the scan will reveal whether the injury is more serious than just a dislocation, with fears over ligament damage.
“We need confirmation on whether he dislocated it or not.” He said as quoted by the Hull Daily Mail.
“We’ll know that by scans. We need to find out if has been dislocated and whether there’s been damaged ligaments. If it has then it’s not great. I don’t want to prejudge anything but it doesn’t look great as we stand.”
Odubajo, centre, helped Hull City to promotion last term
Right-back Odubajo was an ever-present figure for Hull last season, making 42 appearances after switching from Championship side Brentford.
