Everton youngster Brendan Galloway is set to join West Bromwich Albion on loan after the Toffees rejected an approach by Championship club Newcastle United, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Newcastle are thought to have also made a loan offer for Galloway, however Everton rejected their offer due to its inclusion of a future purchase clause.

Everton have no intention of selling their highly rate full-back, but are keen for him to experience regular first team action, and it appears Tony Pulis’ side fit the bill.

Pulis is currently in the market for a full-back, having had to deploy Jonny Evans in the role for their last two Premier League fixtures.

And Galloway could be an ideal fit, having already made a number of Premier League appearances for Everton since making his debut back in 2014, after joining the club from MK Dons for an undisclosed fee.

He signed a new five year deal in December of last year, and is highly regarded at Goodison Park.
