Despite uncertainty over the club’s ownership, Hull have emerged as contenders to sign outgoing Standard Liege defender Eyong Enoh
Enoh is linked with Hull City as well as Crystal Palace and Everton
Hull City have joined Everton and Crystal Palace in the race to sign soon-to-be free agent Eyong Enoh, according to the Hull Daily Mail and the Croydon Advertiser.
Everton and Crystal Palace have both been linked with the former Ajax defender in the past, with the player’s agent confirming the link via Het Laatste Nieuws, whilst Palace were thought by Sky Sports to have agreed a deal with the Cameroonian just days ago.
Enoh has spent time in the Premier League before with Fulham
But it appears, despite Hull City’s uncertainty in the boardroom, that the Tigers too have an interest in bringing in 30 year old Enoh.
Hull are currently undergoing a takeover, and yesterday it was revealed by the Hull Daily Mail that one prospective bidder had withdrawn their interest.
The Allam’s are trying to sell Hull City
Two bidders remain in contention to take-over from the Allams at the KCOM stadium, but despite this uncertainty, Hull are still being linked with potential targets.
Enoh’s contract will expire with Liege at the end of the season and he is not willing to renew it with the Belgian club.
Enoh is a Cameroonian international
His experience with clubs across Europe, including with Dutch giants Ajax and a brief loan spell with Fulham, have brought the defender to the attention of these three Premier League clubs.
Enoh also has 51 international caps to his name, representing Cameroon.
