Euro 2016 is only a matter of days away and with it comes the return of fantasy football hostilities.
Indeed, with a plethora of talent on show it is never easy to gain the edge on your mates in fantasy football.
So, in order to help you get one step ahead in the race to Fantasy Football glory, here are five essential squad fillers who may just be worth their weight in gold, or should I say, goals.
1) Renato Sanches, Portugal, €4.5 million

Having only made his first-team debut for Benfica back in November, the young imposing midfielder will now find himself at Bayern Munich next season, having agreed a deal thought to be worth €35 million, with the potential to rise to €80 million. Manchester United were said to be extremely keen on this young man, until Louis van Gaal pulled the plug on a move.
Now set for a starring role at Euro 2016, Sanches is a must have in your side, coming in at a steal of €4.5 million.
2) Razvan Rat, Romania, €5.5 million

Why on earth would you pick a 35-year-old Romanian left back? Well, with good reason. The former West Ham United full back has 110 caps to his name, and that vast experience proved vital for the Romanians who finished qualifying with the best defensive record of any side, conceding just two goals.
Rat comes in at €5.5 million, but with other mainstays in the back-four available for €5 million, including former Tottenham Hotspur man Vlad Chiricheș as well as Dragos Grigore, you cannot go wrong with a Romanian defensive selection.
3) Breel Embolo, Switzerland, €6 million

Embolo is a hot prospect in European football. The powerful striker made his league debut for Basel aged 17, and scored within four minutes after coming off the bench. As such, suitors have been hovering imposingly over the young forward, with Mauricio Pochetinno’s Spurs the latest to be linked with a move.
The talented and coveted youngster, now 19, scored 12 goals in all competitions this past season for Basel, taking his overall tally to 30 in 86 appearances. Not bad for a teenager.
And with the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri behind pulling all the strings, Euro 2016 could well be his breakthrough on the international stage. You can pick him up for as little as €6 million.
4) Nolito, Spain, €6 million

Nolito has been an integral part of a Celta Vigo side who have performed so well this season, earning Europa League qualification with an impressive sixth-place finish. The former Barcelona man, who only made two league appearances for the Catalans, has found good form at Celta, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists in just 29 appearances.
Having only made his debut for Spain in 2014, the tricky Spanish forward could now well play an even more important role for Del Bosque’s side, and he was in scintillating form against South Korea yesterday, where he scored two in a comfortable 6-1 win.
While he may not start for Spain, with tough competition from the likes of Alvaro Morata, you can expect him to at least be a valuable impact sub for the former world champions.
5) Marco Janko, Austria, €7.5 million.

Slightly more on the expensive side, but this man equals goals. The Austrian forward was his nation’s top scorer in qualifying with seven goals and he played a vital role in helping his country to win every game in qualifying, a feat only matched by England.
Austria are somewhat unexpected dark horses for the competition and with a group including Hungary, Iceland and Portugal, you should easily expect them to make it past the group stage and score some goals along the way.
And with Arnautovic and Alaba the key figures creatively, Janko will certainly have his share of chances to grab a fair few goals at this summer’s championships
