The Norwegian forward was delighted to make his Premier League debut on Saturday
Diomande started for Hull against Leicester at the weekend
Adama Diomande has described making his Premier League debut for Hull City on Saturday as a ‘dream come true’ in an interview with the club’s official website.
Hull pulled off a stunning victory of Premier League champions Leicester, despite no-one giving them a prayer before kick off.
The Tigers went into the game with only 13 senior players available, as their squad has been decimated by injuries, compounded by inactivity in the transfer market and the departure of long serving manager Steve Bruce.

But Diomande was fit and available for the game, and he had a top flight debut to remember, laying claim to Hull’s opener – a ‘dual bicycle kick’, together with frontman Hernandez.
The forward was clearly delighted to feature in the top flight of English football.
In the thick of it: Diomande
“There’s so much passion involved with English football and Saturday was everything I hoped it would be,” said Diomande.
“People follow this league from all over the world and I used to see it on the television.
“My dream to play in it came true.”
Absent for different reasons: Alex Bruce is injured, whilst father Steve left the club last month
Hull may have recorded victory in their curtain raiser but they face tough challenges ahead, the most pressing of which being the combined probably of no manager and no new faces.
The Tigers were yesterday linked with Adrian Mariappa, who is a free agent after departing Crystal Palace, and he would be a welcome addition to a back four that has lost key figures for extensive periods of time, including Michael Dawson, Moses Odubajo and Alex Bruce.
