West Ham target Carlos Bacca says he will only stay at the San Siro if improvements are made at the club
Bacca wants change at Milan if he is to stay
Carlos Bacca has been quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello sport that he will only stay at Milan if there are improvements.
The Colombian forward has been linked with a move to a number of clubs, including his former stomping ground at Sevilla, as well as West Ham United.
He is currently on international duty at Copa America with Colombia, who this morning beat Brazilian conquerors Peru on penalties to set up a semi-final showdown with either Mexico or holders Chile.
It will be their first semi-final appearance since 2004.
And, whilst reiterating that his focus is purely on Colombia’s Copa progress, Bacca has stated that if he is stay at AC Milan, improvements have to made after a disappointing first season in Lombardy.

“As for my future, I am happy with what I am doing at the moment and I thinking about doing my best at the Copa America,” said Bacca. “Then we will see what happens.
“I will speak with my agents shortly and also with the directors of Milan. I feel good playing in Italy but there are certain things that have to improve and we will do everything we can in that sense.”
Would West Ham be a better fit for Bacca?
Milan signed Bacca from Europa League winners Sevilla, but he was unable to help propel the club back into European competition, as they finished 7th in Serie A.
At the end of May Sky Sports reported that West Ham had bid £15 million for the Colombian.
And with suitors looming who offer the prospect of European football next season, including Olympic Stadium bound West Ham, he may well have his head turned this summer.
