What an enormous talent Arsenal have in the form of Bukayo Saka.

The 19-year-old enhanced his reputation in a huge way last night by recording two wonderful assists in helping the Gunners beat Benfica 3-2 on the night to move into the last 16 of the Europa League.

Arsenal needed a late goal from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to seal their progress and it was a beautiful floated cross from Saka which led to Mikel Arteta’s side winning the tie.

At just 19, he is a frightening talent and easily the North Londoners’ most reliable player this season on the whole, both in terms of staying fit and producing moments of quality when it matters.

Cesc Fabregas has already singled out the club’s academy product for praise and now Gilberto Silva – a member of Arsenal’s Invincible squad from 2003-04 – has claimed that he’s been the Emirates Stadium side’s best player so far this season.

Saka, who earns £30,000 per week, deserves all the praise that he’ll wake up to this morning.

In terms of quality and maturity, he’s miles ahead of where other teenagers would and should be at the same age and it’s fascinating to see how much better he’ll become.
