Swansea have signed Barrie McKay, a former Rangers talent.

Barrie McKay is still viewed as the one that got away by many Rangers fans and now he is embarking on the next step in his post-Ibrox career.
Yet it is his spell in Scotland with Rangers which helped convince new Swansea City boss Graham Potter that he can be a success at the Liberty Stadium.
McKay clinched his move to Swansea from Nottingham Forest this week, after being told he did not fit in with Aitor Karanka’s plans at the City Ground.
New Swansea boss Graham Potter believes McKay has the tools to be a success in Wales, citing his early experience with Rangers in Scotland.

He told Swansea’s official website: “When he was younger, he was very highly rated.
“To play at Rangers as he did shows he is able to deal with the pressure that comes with that experience.
“He scored and assisted in the Championship early in his time at Forest, but the change of manager probably affected him a bit.”
McKay has a real point to prove with Swansea after being pushed out the door at Forest.
He only made four appearances under Karanka after the Spaniard took over.
If he succeeds he could force his way into Scotland’s starting line up too at international level, and start showing to Rangers fans who have not seen him lately, that he has improved and is a better player than he was when he left.
