Chelsea manager Graham Potter told his press conference on Friday – as quoted by The Mail – that he has “huge admiration” for Newcastle United gaffer Eddie Howe, saying the Toon boss has “galvanised” this Newcastle side.
Chelsea go to Tyneside on Saturday evening at St. James’ Park, in a game that many will actually expect the Toon to win. Newcastle’s incredible run of form has seen them climb into third place in the Premier League table.
Howe took over Newcastle from Steve Bruce with the Toon failing to win a Premier League game last season. But he guided Newcastle to an incredible 11th place, giving the position they were in. This term, it has gone to a new level.

“Eddie has done a fantastic job. He’s improved the players there, has spent some money to reinforce the team. I can speak for half an hour about how good I think Eddie is as a person and as a coach. I have huge admiration for him.”
