The Times have reported that Chelsea defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante could return to action against Javi Gracia’s Leeds United at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League this coming weekend.
N’Golo Kante could play for Chelsea vs Leeds United
The report has claimed that Kante has returned to first-team training with Chelsea and could be included in manager Graham Potter’s squad for the match against Leeds this coming Saturday.
The £290,000-a-week (SalarySport) France international defensive midfielder ‘was involved in part of the session at Cobham on Monday’.
As reported by The Times, the 31-year-old former Leicester City defensive midfielder has not played since August 14 due to a hamstring injury, which means that Potter could use the 2018 World Cup winner with France for the first time under him.
Hard for Leeds United
Now, Chelsea are not having the best of times under manager Graham Potter.

The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are not scoring goals or winning matches.
However, Kante is one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.
Even having the Frenchman as an option on the bench would enhance Chelsea’s chances of getting something from the match against Leeds.
Yes, Leeds won this past weekend, but we cannot ignore the fact that they have been really poor this season and could get relegated to the Championship.
