Leeds should be targeting Wolves defender Kortney Hause.
Leeds United’s lack of defensive options were laid bare this week as they suffered injuries to first choice centre-backs Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side may sit top of the table but they have kept only one clean sheet in five matches in all competitions.
The loan window allows them to add players, and the Whites should be looking to Wolves once again, this time for Kortney Hause.
The England under-21 international finds himself struggling for game time at Molineux – he is yet to play a single minute of their opening games.
Last season Hause was also barely used, making only four appearances, with manager Nuno Santo preferring other options.
Despite this, Hause has 78 appearances in total for Wolves at just 23 and is a promising talent who Leeds stand a strong chance of being able to land on loan if they push for him.
Football London reported earlier in august that Reading were trying to sign him, but the Royals have not yet made progress and Hause remains available for a potential loan move.
Leeds have already struck one deal with Wolves this summer to sign Barry Douglas, and there would have to be a good chance of a loan for Hause developing into a permanent deal.
There is a lot to like about signing the defender to add depth for Leeds, he has excellent experience already in his career, and his best years are ahead of him.
