Everton have a number of promising young players on FIFA 17.
Goodison Park
This week, EA Sports release the latest title in the FIFA franchise, as FIFA 17 hits the shelves around the world.
One of the most popular modes on the game is Career Mode, where fans can take over their favourite clubs and manage them for up to 15 years.
The mode revolves around growing and developing a team over the years, with each player given a ‘potential’ rating that they can reach during Career Mode.
With that in mind, here are Everton’s top Under-21 talents on FIFA 17 with regards to their potential ratings, as seen on sofifa.com…
Shani Tarashaj in Switzerland training
Shani Tarashaj
Overall rating: 69
Potential rating: 81
Swiss playmaker Tarashaj joined the club in January before returning to Grasshopper Zurich, and starts the game out on loan at German side Eintracht Frankfurt. Either an attacking midfielder or a striker, Tarashaj has great pace, dribbling ability and finishing, meaning he’s a player that should grow to become a key player at Goodison Park on FIFA 17.
Mason Holgate
Overall rating: 65
Potential rating: 81
Defender Holgate has impressed in real life this season, and given that Everton have an ageing backline, he should be important on FIFA 17. With versatility to play at centre back or right back, Holgate can become a vital player for Everton, with his speed and strength impressive already, before you even get him towards his 81 overall potential.
Kieran Dowell of Everton
Kieran Dowell
Overall rating: 65
Potential rating: 81
Playmaker Dowell is just 19, and may not feature much early on for anybody playing as Everton due to the likes of Kevin Mirallas, Gerard Deulofeu and Yannick Bolasie available. However, with that 81 potential, Dowell may be important later in Career Mode due to his technical ability and long shooting. Able to play out wide or as an attacking midfielder, Dowell is certainly worth developing.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Overall rating: 63
Potential rating: 79
Striker Calvert-Lewin joined Everton from Sheffield United on deadline day, and looks to be a real talent for the future having scored goals for Everton’s development team as well as England’s youth setup. Calvert-Lewin won’t be troubling Romelu Lukaku for a starting role early on in FIFA 17, but Calvert-Lewin has real pace and potential, and could become a decent Premier League striker in the future.
Everton’s Brendan Galloway in action
Brendan Galloway
Overall rating: 68
Potential rating: 78
Left back Galloway starts out on loan at West Bromwich Albion, but anybody playing as Everton will know that Leighton Baines isn’t getting any younger, so developing a future replacement will be a priority in Career Mode. Galloway could be that player, whilst his versatility to play at centre back could also come in handy.
