Leeds United have been linked with a move for Polish defender Bartosz Salamon.
26-year-old Salamon featured just 15 times in Serie A for Bologna last season and could benefit from a move to Elland Road like Pontus Jansson did.

His former Brescia president compared him to Italian legend Franco Baresi, hailing his ability to play out from the back.
Luigi Corioni was quoted by Sempre Inter in 2013 stating: “Comparisons to Baresi? Salamon has the potential to get there.
“He is a modern Baresi, at the moment, he must still improve his defensive play, but as a regista he already very good.”

AC Milan took notice, and paid to for Salamon’s services.
The move came with the approval of none other than Franco Baresi, who was a youth coach and later ambassador at Milan after he retired.
He was quoted by Juara.net: “Bartosz Salamon is a very interesting player. He is very good at playing as a defender and midfielder. He also has a physical advantage in terms of height. However, we must give him time to develop.”
Unfortunately for Salamon he never got the time he needed at AC Milan, with established internationals blocking his path to the first team.
He moved to Sampdoria and Bologna in 2015 where he has been since, and has gone on to become a senior Poland international, featuring as part of their Euro 2016 squad.
A move to join compatriot Mateusz Klich at Leeds could be just what he needs, and allow him to unlock his vast potential.
As a swap deal for Giuseppe Bellusci, Leeds would be mad to resist.
