Arsenal winger Willian has told FourFourTwo that he believes Mikel Arteta has the potential to become one of the best managers in world football.
Arteta has come under pressure at Arsenal in recent weeks, as the Gunners have begun the campaign slowly.
But Willian has had nothing but positive words to say about the Spaniard, who has impressed him after his summer move to the Emirates Stadium.
“He’ll be a top manager, I’ve no doubt about it,” Willian said.
“The potential is there, as is the ambition. In a few years he’ll be considered one of the best managers in the Premier League – and the world.
“Obviously you must win trophies to be considered one of the best, and it will happen for him sooner rather than later.
“I’m impressed with the way he talks and explains his tactical thoughts – he’s quick to read the game and make adjustments when needed. It’s been fantastic to train under him so far and I’m learning a lot.”

Arteta has spoken a lot about the ‘process’ he is undergoing at Arsenal, but the young manager will need some results to go in his favour if he is to win over all his critics.
The Gunners are in 11th place in the Premier League table, and even though Arteta’s ideas are only starting to be implemented, he will need to move his side up the standings sooner rather than later.
Whether Willian will be a part of the side that he trusts to do that in the coming weeks is now actually in some doubt.
The Brazilian hasn’t started particularly auspiciously at Arsenal, with some of his performances being below-par.
There have now been calls from some supporters for Willian to be axed in favour of younger players, like Reiss Nelson or Nicolas Pepe.
Arsenal are next in action at the weekend, when they take on Leeds United.
