Leeds United announced earlier today they have extended the contract of exciting talent Ronaldo Vieira, the club website confirmed.

With his early season performances and progression to the first team, 18-year-old Vieira has shown he can be every bit as talented as his name suggests.

The midfielder has broken into Garry Monk’s XI, and is deserving of his extended deal.

Among those to be impressed by the announcement, is potential investor Andrea Radrizzani, who ‘liked’ the news when broken by the club’s official website on Twitter.

The BBC reported a few weeks ago that Radrizzani, an Italian businessman, is in talks regarding a major investment in Leeds United.

Radrizzani helped with Inter Milan’s recent takeover, and fans keen to see Massimo Cellino’s ownership at Leeds come to an end are hoping he is part of the solution.

News regarding potential Leeds investment has gone quiet, but his twitter activity suggests Radrizzani is keeping a close eye on activity at Elland Road and is delighted to see Leeds tie down a major asset on a long term deal.
