RMC Sport reported last month that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy would welcome Mauricio Pochettino back to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if Antonio Conte leaves, and now following the Kylian Mbappe transfer saga, it seems that the Argentine manager could become available.
As reported by RMC Sport in April, Tottenham chairman Levy wants Pochettino to take charge of the first team should Conte leave this summer.
The report claimed that Paris Saint-Germain are looking at the former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss as a potential replacement for Pochettino.
Mbappe decision affects Tottenham and Pochettino
And now Le Parisien are reporting that Pochettino is likely to leave this summer after Mbappe decided to extend his stay at PSG.
According to the report, despite a big offer from Real Madrid, France international forward Mbappe has decided to sign a new contract with PSG.
The 23-year-old reportedly wants former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane to take charge of PSG.

This means that Pochettino could become available soon.
Now, Tottenham are doing well under Conte at the moment.
Spurs are effectively a draw away from securing Champions League football next season.
Conte is unlikely to leave his role as the Tottenham head coach if the North London club qualify for the Champions League, but if he does, then Levy could be able to get his number one replacement – Pochettino.
