Arsenal are back in Premier League action tonight – and it’s a toughie for Mikel Arteta’s side.

The Emirates Stadium plays host as Chelsea travel to the north part of the city for a London derby.

The Gunners are 15th in the Premier League table and have only scored 12 goals from 14 games so far this season.

And with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang a big doubt to be fit for the game, Gabriel Martinelli, who took a knock in the 4-1 League Cup defeat by Manchester City, might continue in that wide role, in support of lone striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Alex Runarsson made an error in the defeat by Pep Guardiola’s side and Bernd Leno, a £22 million signing by Sven Mislintat in 2018, is likely to return between the sticks.

The Arsenal boss also left Nicolas Pepe on the bench against City and the former Lille winger, who earns £100,000 per week at the club, could and certainly should come back into the first XI.

Granit Xhaka, who got sent off against Burnley earlier this month, has now served his three-match ban and is therefore eligible to face Frank Lampard’s side.

Here is how Arsenal could well line up against the Blues later this evening:
