Tottenham Hotspur could lose Chris Davies with Swansea City now looking at him as a contender to replace Michael Duff.
Swansea are back in the market for a new manager once again, just months after losing Russell Martin to Southampton.
The Swans lured Michael Duff away from Barnsley after he lost the League One playoff final at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday.
Duff never really seemed like the right man for Swansea though, and he was given his marching orders on Monday.
Nine defeats and just six wins in 21 games means Duff is now out of a job – and Swansea are hunting for a replacement.

Tottenham will now be on red alert because Swansea are lining up a raid for senior assistant coach Chris Davies.
BBC Sport report that Davies is ‘emerging as a leading candidate’ for the Swansea job.
Wales Online report similar information, suggesting that Davies is on Swansea’s shortlist after sacking Duff.
Swansea targeted Davies over the summer but he chose to join Ange Postecoglou’s coaching staff at Tottenham instead.
Davies does have history with Swansea though; he was Brendan Rodgers’ assistant at the Liberty Stadium at the age of just 25.
Davies has followed Rodgers around in recent times, joining him at Liverpool, Celtic and Leicester City.
Rodgers has previously hailed Davies as a ‘magnificent coach’ but the pair have gone their separate ways now having been sacked by Leicester last season; Rodgers returned to Celtic and Davies headed to Spurs.
Reports from Football London’s Alasdair Gold in September suggested that Tottenham players have been wowed by Davies and his impact in Spurs training.
That means Davies leaving for Swansea would be a monumental blow for Postecoglou and Tottenham will be hoping that he dodges a move to South Wales once again.
