Kenny Jackett has been tipped to take over from Steve McClaren at Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers, along with Tim Sherwood and Lee Bowyer.

Kenny Jackett has played down speculation that he could leave Portsmouth to take over at Queens Park Rangers, telling The News that he has heard nothing yet from the London club.
QPR are on the lookout for a new manager after bringing an end to Steve McClaren’s erratic reign at Loftus Road on Monday following a 2-1 home defeat to a seemingly doomed Bolton Wanderers side.
The Championship strugglers are interested in Charlton Athletic boss Lee Bowyer, according to The Standard, while Sky claims that they could also look to entire former Tottenham and Aston Villa coach Tim Sherwood back into the dugout.
And Jackett is another name in the frame with Sky adding that they could look to hire him at the end of the season. Though the 57-year-old has moved to play down the rumours for the time being.
“I’d think it’s just speculation,” said Jackett. “Unfortunately managers lose their jobs.
“There’s a lot of speculation there, but I’ve heard nothing.”

Jackett has represented Watford, Swansea City, Wolves, Rotherham United, Millwall and now Portsmouth in a storied managerial career and he has done a fine job since taking over at Fratton Park in 2017.
Pompey are well placed to make an emotional return to the Championship, while Jackett led them to glory in the Checkatrade Trophy final on Sunday, beating Sunderland in a penalty shoot-out at Wembley.
