The 20-year-old has struggled for game time at Pompey but took his tally to four goals in seven games by scoring against Charlton.

Aston Villa winger Andre Green has arguably had a tough start to life on loan at Portsmouth.
Brought to Fratton Park on a season-long spell from the Championship club, he made two appearances in all competitions before being ruled out through injury.
Green did make an immediate impact upon his return by scoring against Tottenham’s Under-21 side in November’s Checkatrade Trophy clash after more than two months out.
All in all, the 20-year-old had made just six appearances in all competitions prior to Tuesday night’s game against Charlton, and just one in League One (Transfermarkt).
However, Green made a quick impact after coming off the bench in the 80th minute, scoring eight minutes later by slotting home from a Gareth Evans cross to halve the deficit.
Although Pompey could not find an equaliser and succumbed to a 2-1 defeat, the Villa loanee certainly made an impact and took his tally to an impressive four goals in seven games.

Some fans of the south coast club took to Twitter after Green’s goal and also after the game to praise his efforts and urge Pompey to give him a place in the starting XI:
