Porto will reportedly sell former Everton target Yacine Brahimi this summer.

According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Porto need to sell this summer in order to meet Financial Fair Play regulations – and winger Yacine Brahimi could be on his way out.
With Benfica winning the Portuguese league title for a fourth year in a row this season, it’s now four years without a title for Porto, and changes are coming.
Nuno Espirito Santo has been replaced as manager in favour of former Portugal international Sergio Conceicao, and A Bola claim that Porto must meet Financial Fair Play regulations by selling players this summer.

One player named in the report as a potential departure is winger Yacine Brahimi, which will prompt questions over whether Everton could rekindle their interest in his signature.
As reported by The Mirror in September, Everton failed with a £33.6million bid to sign Brahimi on deadline day, with the 27-year-old going on to notch seven goals and three assists for Porto this season.

A creative winger may be on Everton’s summer wish list, given that Kevin Mirallas has been inconsistent throughout his time at Goodison Park, Yannick Bolasie is out with a long-term injury, Gerard Deulofeu may leave and Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Ademola Lookman are only youngsters, and may be better off as strikers anyway.
Brahimi possesses superb dribbling ability, and whilst he may not be a ‘speedster’ like Bolasie, he can cut in from the left hand side and both create and score, bringing some flair to this Everton team if he does finally join the Toffees.

Director of Football Steve Walsh signed one Algerian winger who thrived in the Premier League in Riyad Mahrez at Leicester City, and he should now be contemplating another move to bring Brahimi to England too.
A Bola note that Brahimi has a €60million (£52million) release clause in his deal at Porto, but with funds needed at the Estadio do Dragao, Everton should be looking to test the water with a new bid for the tricky, skillful winger – possibly even below the £33.6million they offered less than a year ago, given Porto’s need for cash.
