HITC Sport understands Wolves are lining up a move for Coventry City midfielder.
Coventry’s Ben Stevenson (R) in action against Oxford
Wolverhampton Wanderers are making a move for Coventry City youngster Ben Stevenson with the midfielder likely to link up with the Championship club’s development side initially, HITC Sport understands.
Stevenson has come through the ranks at Coventry and made his first-team debut in August 2016.
The talented midfielder made 36 appearances in all competitions last season and chipped in with two goals.
However, Stevenson has found first-team opportunities harder to come by this season, making just two starts in League Two and 11 appearances in total.

Wolves are long-term admirers of Stevenson as they see him as a bright future prospect, having watched him in action on several occasions during the last 18 months.
Championship leaders Wolves are currently well-stocked for midfielders and, although Stevenson is unlikely to break into Nuno Espírito Santo senior side in the short term, the Molineux outfit are keen to push through a deal for the 20-year-old.
Wolves are in talks with Coventry over a possible deal for Stevenson, with the Championship promotion hopefuls planning to include Stevenson in their under-23s side before progressing into the first-team.
