HITC Sport understands Wigan have raided League One rivals for striker.

Wigan have won the race for Fleetwood Town striker Devante Cole, HITC Sport understands.
Rangers had made a bid for Cole as they looked to sign the player before the transfer deadline, but Wigan have stolen in to land the former Manchester City man.
Wigan have moved to bring in Cole to strengthen their attacking options as they look to boost their bid to win promotion from League One this season.

Cole’s was in the final six months of his contract at Fleetwood and a number of clubs were hoping to land the striker for a cut-price fee before the close of the transfer window.
Cole, son of former England international Andrew, has scored 12 goals for Fleetwood so far this season and a number of Championship and League One clubs are keen on signing the former Manchester City youngster.
However, Wigan have pulled out all the stops to agree a deal for Cole before Wednesday’s transfer deadline.
