HITC Sport understands West Ham forward set for League Two loan move.
West Ham United striker Jaanai Gordon is poised to join League Two outfit Newport County on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Gordon came through the ranks at Peterborough and made seven first-team appearances for Peterborough United before joining West Ham in January 2014 after impressing during a trial spell at the Premier League club.

The highly-rated forward has yet to make a first-team appearance for West Ham, but was an unused substitute for the FA Cup third-round defeat at Nottingham Forest in January 2014.
Gordon has spent most of the last 18 months out on loan to get valuable first-team experience enjoying spells at Chelmsford City, Nuneaton Town and Irish side Sligo Rovers.

A number of clubs have shown an interest in signing Gordon during this month’s transfer window, but Newport County have moved quickly to agree a deal with West Ham.
