HITC Sport understands West Ham striker set for Scotland switch.
West Ham manager Slaven Bilic
West Ham United forward Luka Belic is poised to join Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
West Ham signed the highly-rated Serbian last summer from OFK Beograd after scouts were alerted to the youngster’s potential.
Belic became the youngest player to feature in Serbia’s top division as a 16-year-old in April 2012, a record which he still holds.
The 20-year-old has yet to make his first-team debut for West Ham, but he has been a regular for the club’s under-21s side.
West Ham are happy to loan out Belic so that he can get some valuable first-team experience under his belt and a number of clubs have expressed an interest in the Serbian.
Motherwell manager, Mark McGhee
Motherwell have moved quickly to agree a deal with West Ham for Belic with Fir Park Mark McGhee keen to bolster his attacking options before the close of the transfer window.
