West Ham United forward Luka Belic is poised to join Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on loan, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

West Ham signed the highly-rated Serbian last summer from OFK Beograd after scouts were alerted to the youngster’s potential.

Belic became the youngest player to feature in Serbia’s top division as a 16-year-old in April 2012, a record which he still holds.

The 20-year-old has yet to make his first-team debut for West Ham, but he has been a regular for the club’s under-21s side.

West Ham are happy to loan out Belic so that he can get some valuable first-team experience under his belt and a number of clubs have expressed an interest in the Serbian.
