HITC Sport understands the Oldham boss is a contender for the Bradford job.

Oldham Athletic boss Richie Wellens is in the frame for the vacant manager’s job at Bradford City, HITC Sport understands.
Bradford are searching for a new manager after sacking Stuart McCall earlier on Monday, after a run of six straight defeats in all competitions.
McCall, who was in his second spell as Bradford boss, guided the club to the League One play-off final last year, but they have slipped 13 points off the automatic promotion places in recent weeks after five defeats in League One.
A number of names have been linked with vacancy at Valley Parade and it is understood that Oldham chief Wellens has admirers in the corridors of power at Bradford.

Wellens masterminded Oldham’s 2-1 win over Bradford on Saturday which ultimatley cost McCall his job and he also guided Athletic to a draw at Bradford in the corresponding fixture earlier in the campaign.
Wellens has impressed in his first managerial role at Oldham, taking over initially on a caretaker basis in September following John Sheridan’s departure, with the club rock bottom of League One and with four points from their opening nine games.
The 37-year-old oversaw a five-game unbeaten run while in caretaker charge, including impressive wins over promotion-chasing trio Blackburn, Portsmouth and Peterborough before being handed the job on a permanent basis in October.
Oldham have picked up 28 points since Wellens took over and they are just one point away from safety in League One
Wellens has had to deal with a lot of issues off the field, with wages not being paid on time and a change in ownership, but he has managed to keep the side focused in the battle to avoid relegation and is earning himself a reputation as one of the brightest young managers around.
