Bournemouth winger Max Gradel is a loan target for Toulouse, HITC Sport understands from sources in France.

Gradel’s future at Bournemouth has been the subject of speculation again this summer after struggling to hold down a regular place in Eddie Howe’s side last season.

The Ivory Coast international did not start a Premier League game for Bournemouth last season and he made only 13 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries.

Gradel is understood to be keen on a move away in search of regular first-team football and a number of clubs have been monitoring his situation at Bournemouth.

Sunderland have expressed an interest in Gradel as new Black Cats boss Simon Grayson looks to be reunited with his former Leeds United charge, while there has been interest from a club in Turkey.

Toulouse are keen to bring Gradel back to Ligue 1 after he enjoyed a successful spell with Saint Etienne between 2011-15.

Gradel scored 31 goals in 101 games for Saint Etienne before returning to England with Bournemouth in 2015.

Gradel is open to the idea of going back to France if he does not figure in Howe’s plans as he wants to be playing regular first-team football next season.
