HITC Sport understands Swindon are among a number of clubs chasing Burnley defender Ali Koiki.
Burnley’s highly-rated left-back Ali Koiki is a loan target for Swindon Town and several other Football League clubs, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Koiki joined Burnley in the summer of 2016 after impressing on trial at Turf Moor and he is tipped for a bright future at the Premier League club.
The 19-year-old was a regular for Burnley’s Under-23s last season and he was rewarded with his first professional contract last summer.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche is a big admirer of the powerful full-back and he was named on the bench for the recent games against Arsenal and West Ham over the festive period.

A number of clubs have made enquiries about taking Koiki on loan during this month’s transfer window and it seems Dyche is willing to sanction a loan move so that the teenager can continue his development by playing regular first-team football in the second half of the season.
The likes of Charlton Athletic, Southend United and Exeter City have all shown an interest Koiki, but Swindon are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by luring him to the County Ground.
