HITC Sport understands Sunderland and Oxford are chasing Sheffield United winger Ricky Holmes.

Sheffield United winger Ricky Holmes is a target for League One duo Sunderland and Oxford United, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Holmes joined Sheffield United in January from Charlton Athletic, but struggled to establish himself at Bramall Lane.
The 31-year-old made only five appearances for United last season and he remains down the pecking order in Chris Wilder’s first-team plans.
The Blades are open to the idea of loaning out Holmes next season so he can some regular first-team action under his belt.

The news of Holmes’ possible availability has alerted a number of clubs, with the attacker a proven performer at League One level.
Sunderland and Oxford are both looking to bolster their attacking options as they prepare for the new season and they have registered their interest in taking Holmes on loan.
Holmes impressed in League One with Charlton, scoring 19 goals in 58 appearances, and his versatility in that he can play out wide or up front makes him appealing to both Sunderland and Oxford.
