HITC Sport understands Sheffield United agree to let striker leave on loan.

Sheffield United striker James Hanson has agreed a deal to join League One strugglers Bury on loan, HITC Sport understands.
United are willing to let striker James Hanson move on during this month’s transfer window as he is well down the pecking order in Chris Wilder’s first-team plans
Hanson has found himself struggling for game time at Bramall Lane with Billy Sharp, Leon Clarke and Clayton Donaldson all ahead of him.
The 30-year-old joined United last January from Bradford City and helped the club win promotion to the Championship.

However, his first-team opportunities have been limited this season and a number of clubs have been monitoring his situation.
Hanson has made just one start in the EFL Cup and one brief cameo appearance off the bench in the Championship, and the player was keen on a move away in search of regular first-team football at this stage of his career.
Bury have moved quickly to agree a deal for Hanson and the big forward will spend the rest of the season at Gigg Lane.
The Shakers are in desperate need of reinforcements with the club rooted to the bottom of League One, 11 points adrift of safety.
