Blackburn Rovers defender Ryan Nyambe is in line for a new deal at Ewood Park, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
The 20-year-old has come through the ranks at Blackburn, and he is highly-regarded within the corridors of power at Ewood Park.
Nyambe impressed last season, making 35 appearances in all competitions for Blackburn as they won promotion back to the Championship.
A number of Premier League clubs have been keeping tabs on Nyambe with the Namibia-born youngster able to play anywhere across the back four.

Nyambe is entering the final year of his contract at Ewood Park and the club are keen to secure his future on a new long-term deal and, in the process, fend off any interest from other clubs.
Rovers boss Tony Mowbray is keen to keep hold of Nyambe as he sees him playing a vital role in his plans going forward, and the club are in talks over a new contract to secure the defender’s long-term future.
Nyambe, who made his debut for Blackburn in the League Cup in August 2015 at the age of 17, played the full 90 minutes of Blackburn’s opening day draw with Ipswich Town on Saturday.
