HITC Sport understands Reading eye Czech Republic striker.

Reading are lining up a move for highly-rated Czech Republic striker Michael Krmencik, HITC Sport understands.
Reading boss Paul Clement has made striking reinforcements one of his main priorities this summer as he looks to reshape the squad at the Madejski Stadium.
The Royals were the third lowest scorers in the Championship this season with just 48 goals, with only Burton and Bolton scoring less in the league.

Reading finished just above the relegation zone this season and Clement is keen to spend big to improve his team ahead of next season.
Krmencik, who is plying his trade for Viktoria Plzen is his native Czech Republic, has emerged on Reading’s radar after catching the eye in the last couple of seasons.
The likes of Newcastle and Aston Villa have been linked with Krmencik in the past, but now Reading are weighing up a move for the prolific forward.
The 26-year-old has scored 19 goals in 33 games in all competitions for Viktoria Plzen so far this season and he has an impressive strike rate of seven goals in 13 appearances for the Czech Republic.

Clement is understood to have watched Krmencik score in last weekend’s win over FK Teplice and the striker impressed the onlooking Reading manager.
Viktoria Plzen would be reluctant to lose Krmencik as they look to secure qualification to the Champions League next season, but Reading are ready to test their resolve to hang onto him with a bid.
