Rangers target Alfredo Morelos has passed a medical and won a work permit to move closer to sealing his move to Ibrox, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
HJK Helsinki striker Alfredo Morelos arrived in Scotland earlier this week for talks and a medical after Rangers agreed a fee with the Finnish club for the Colombian.
The 20-year-old has impressed at HJK Helsinki after joining from Independiente Medellin just over a year ago, scoring 47 goals in 62 appearances for HJK.

The move to Rangers was dependent on Morelos gaining a work permit as he has yet to play for the Colombian senior national team.
However, the Colombian Football Association are understood to have given Morelos a glowing reference and he has now been successful in his work permit application.
Morelos has also successfully come through his medical and agreed personal terms and he is on the verge of becoming the latest new signing for Pedro Caixinha.
Rangers boss Caixinha has been busy in the transfer market so far this summer bringing in five new signings in the shape of Bruno Alves, Ryan Jack, Dalcio, Fabio Cardoso and Daniel Candeias and Morelos looks set to become the sixth new arrival.
