HITC Sport understands Glasgow Rangers agree deal for Norwich defender.

Rangers have agreed a loan deal with Norwich for defender Russell Martin, HITC Sport understands.
The loan deal for the remainder of the campaign has been agreed between the two clubs, and Martin is expected to have a medical and finalise personal terms at Rangers in the next 24 hours.
Martin has found himself frozen out of the picture at Carrow Road this season and has not featured since a 4-0 defeat by Millwall back in August.
Martin does not figure in Daniel Farke’s plans going forward and the Canaries are willing to let the club captain leave.

Rangers have moved to offer Martin an escape route out of Norwich, as current Gers boss Graeme Murty knows all about the experienced defender from his time as a youth coach at Carrow Road.
32-year-old Martin will offer experience and versatility to the Rangers squad as he is equally adept at playing at centre-back or right-back.
The Scotland international is keen to be playing regulary at this stage of his career and has jumped at the chance to make the move to Glasgow.
Rangers have been busy in this month’s transfer window, making Declan John’s loan move permanent and signing Sean Goss from Queens Park Rangers on loan and Jamie Murphy from Brighton, and they are set to sign Martin and Nottingham Forest striker Jason Cummings on loan in the coming days.
