HITC Sport understands Fulham and Crystal Palace target Yann M’Vila is set to stay at St Etienne.

St Etienne midfielder Yann M’Vila is set to sign a new deal at the Ligue 1 club after rejecting interest from several Premier League clubs this summer, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Fulham and Crystal Palace have been credited with an interest in bringing the former Sunderland man back to the Premier League after he impressed at St Etienne last season.
M’Vila is enterting the final year of his contract at St Etienne and the club are determind to keep him with Les Verts.
St Etienne have moved to fend off the growing interest in the former France international by offering him a new contract and terms are close to being agreed.
M’Vila enjoyed a successful season in England on loan at Sunderland under Sam Allardyce during the 2015-16 campaign when he made 37 Premier League appearances as he helped Sunderland avoid relegation from the top flight.

Sunderland were expected to make M’Vila’s loan move from Rubin Kazan into a permanent deal, but the move failed to materialise and he was forced to return to Russia.
M’Vila left Rubin Kazan for St Etienne last January and he helped the club finish in seventh place in Ligue 1 last season.
News of M’Vila’s new deal will come as a welcome boost to St Etienne, but a blow to his Premier League suitors.
