HITC Sport understands Crystal Palace are preparing bid for Premier League striker.

Crystal Palace are planning an £11million bid for Burnley striker Ashley Barnes before the close of the transfer window, HITC Sport understands.
Goalscoring has been a major problem for Crystal Palace having scored just 22 goals their 24 Premier League games to date.
Eagles boss Roy Hodgson has been searching for a new striker since he took over at Selhurst Park with the club short of back-up to Christian Benteke.
Hodgson feels they need striking reinforcements during this month’s transfer window if they are to steer clear of relegation trouble and he is targeting a move for Burnley’s Barnes.

Barnes, who has been linked with Chelsea in recent weeks, has scored four goals in 26 appearances for the Clarets this season, although most have come from the bench.
The former Brighton forward has made only eight Premier League starts for Burnley so far this season with Chris Wood the No.1 striker at Turf Moor.
Palace are desperate to successfully end their hunt for a striker before next week’s transfer deadline and they are ready to test Burnley’s resolve to hang onto Barnes.
Barnes is in the final 18 months of his contract at Burnley and Clarets boss Sean Dyche would be reluctant to lose the industrious forward and leave himself short of attacking options for the remainder of the season.
