Bradford City midfielder Josh Wright is a January target for several League One clubs, including Oxford United, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.
Wright, who joined Bradford in the summer on a free transfer, has found himself out of favour under David Hopkin in recent weeks.
The 29-year-old was brought in by former Bradford boss Michael Collins and made club captain at the start of the season, but he has found his first-team opportunities limited since Hopkin took charge at Valley Parade.
Wright has made 16 appearances in all competitions for Bradford with his last appearance coming in the Checkatrade Trophy defeat at Barnsley in November.
The former Charlton and Millwall man is ready to move on in search of regular first-team action next month and the news has alerted a number of clubs in League One.
Oxford are weighing up a move for the classy midfielder with U’s boss Karl Robinson a big admirer of Wright having previously tried to sign him when he was in charge of other clubs.
Bradford are likely to listen to offers for Wright with the midfielder not appearing to figure in Hopkin’s plans going forward.
