HITC Sport understands former Chelsea and West Ham striker involved in contract wrangle at Newport.

Newport County striker Frank Nouble has been dropped from starting XI in recent weeks for failing to agree a new deal, HITC Sport understands.
Nouble was left out of the squad for the game against Forest Green at the start of March and he has started the last three games on the bench, only coming on in the second half in those three games.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at Newport at the end of the season and he has so far failed to agree a new deal at the League Two club.
Newport have now opted to punish Nouble for failing to agree the new deal by putting him on the sidelines despite the forward being one of their top performers this season.

Nouble had been a virtual ever-present in the starting line-up prior to his contract wrangle and despite playing out wide rather than up front he has contributed eight goals and seven assists so far this campaign.
The former England Under-19 international was instrumental in their run to the FA Cup fourth round creating the winning goal in the third round win over Leeds as well as taking high-flying Premier League Spurs to a fourth round replay.
News of Nouble’s contract wrangle at Newport is sure to alert a number of Football League clubs with the attacker catching the eye for the Exiles this season.
