Luton Town are set to sign loan star Andrew Shinnie on a free transfer following his release from Birmingham City, HITC Sport understands.
Shinnie joined Luton last summer on a season-long loan from Birmingham and he made a big impact at Kenilworth Road.

The attacking midfielder made 34 appearances in all competitions for Luton, scoring three goals and registering seven assists as the Hatters won promotion from League Two.
Luton boss Nathan Jones was keen to sign Shinnie on a permanent basis as he feels the Scotland international will be a valuable addition to his plans in League One next season.

Scotland international Shinnie is expected to be the first of many new arrivals at Luton this summer after the club let several players go at the end of the season.
Birmingham released Shinnie earlier this month, after informing him he would not be getting a new deal at St Andrew’s when his contract expired this summer.
Shinnie made 73 appearances for Blues since joining in 2013 from Inverness Caledonian Thistle, but he has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Hibernian and Luton.
